SUMMARY OF WORK <br />Section 01010 <br />15-1207 <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.01 INCLUSION OF OTHER CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />A. The General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions and Division 1 are fully applicable to this <br />Section, as if repeated herein. <br />1.02 WORK INCLUDED <br />A. Under a single contract construct the Lincoln Elementary School — Cafeteria <br />Replacement, Manteca Unified School District located in Manteca, CA. Work includes: <br />1. New building as shown on drawings; <br />2. Passenger drop off, accessible parking; <br />3. Accessible path of travel to existing buildings; <br />4. Other work as shown in the documents and as required for a complete and <br />operational project. <br />1.03 WORK BY OTHERS <br />A. Work in the Project which will be executed after completion of Work of this Contract, and <br />which is excluded from this Contract, as follows: <br />Increment 2 Building Modernization & Removal of Relocatable Classrooms <br />1.04 DIMENSIONING AND TOLERANCES FOR ACCESSIBILITY <br />A. While it is recognized that construction practices generally permit a level of reasonable <br />dimensional tolerance, the installation of any items subject to compliance with the Americans <br />with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines and Chapter 11 B of the California Building Code, <br />typically does not allow such tolerances. Therefore, these dimensions are to be considered <br />absolute and will be strictly enforced. Items found to be out of tolerance may require <br />modification and/or replacement at contractor's expense. <br />1.05 CONTRACTORS USE OF PREMISES <br />A. Specific roads for access to and from building sites will be agreed on with the district. All <br />traffic and materials delivery shall be confined to these roads. <br />B. Specific areas for storage of materials and site fabrication will be agreed upon. Contractor's <br />activities shall be confined to these areas. <br />C. Work shall proceed in such manner as to not interfere with Owner's activities in and about <br />nearby facilities. Exceptions will be made only after previous agreement between Owner, <br />Architect and Contractor. <br />D. Fire alarm, intercom, intrusion alarm and other such tests shall be conducted outside of <br />school hours and shall be coordinated with site personnel, if such tests occur after occupancy. <br />1.06 WORK SEQUENCE <br />A. Schedule and construct work in stages to accommodate Owner's use of the premises before <br />
