CUTTING AND PATCHING <br />Section 01045 <br />15-1207 <br />F. Request shall include: <br />1. Project identification. <br />2. Description of affected work. <br />3. Necessity for cutting, alteration or excavation. <br />4. Effect on work of Owner or any separate contractor, or on structural or weatherproof <br />integrity of Project. <br />5. Description of proposed work: <br />a. Scope of cutting, patching, alteration, or excavation. <br />b. Trades who will execute the work. <br />C. Products proposed to be used. <br />d. Extent of refinishing to be done. <br />6. Alternatives to cutting and patching. <br />7. Cost proposal, when applicable. <br />8. Written permission of any separate contractor whose work will be affected. <br />G. Should conditions of work or schedule indicate change of products from original installation, <br />Contractor shall submit request for substitution specified in Section 01300. <br />H. Submit written notice to Architect designating date and time work will be uncovered. <br />1.05 GUARANTEE <br />A. Refer to General Conditions and Section 01300. <br />B. Submit fully executed Guarantee with submittal package required by Article 1.04. <br />1.06 REFERENCES AND STANDARDS <br />A. Title 24, Part 2, CCR, California Building Code. <br />1.07 QUALIFICATIONS <br />A. Employ specially qualified installers or fabricators to perform cutting and patching for: <br />1. Weather -exposed or moisture -resistant elements. <br />2. Sight -exposed finished surfaces. <br />1.08 FIELD MEASUREMENTS <br />A. Make and be responsible for all field dimensions necessary for proper fitting and completion <br />of work. Report discrepancies to Architect before proceeding. <br />1.09 PROJECT RECORD DOCUMENTS <br />A. Provide per Section 01700, Contract Closeout. <br />2 <br />
