SUBMITTALS <br />Section 01300 <br />15-1207 <br />2.12 GUARANTEES <br />A. Standard Guarantee: Provide individual as well as overall guarantees for all work executed <br />under this Contract or any extra work to be absolutely free of all defects of workmanship and <br />materials for a period of two years from the date of filing of notice of completion and <br />acceptance by Owner. Repair and make good all such defects and repair any damage to <br />other work caused thereby which may occur during same period at no cost to the owner. <br />B. Indicate on Guarantee Form (included with this section) specific provisions required by <br />individual specification sections. List all special requirements, extended periods, bonding, <br />etc. <br />C. Additional Guarantees: Provide additional guarantees (in excess of year(s) required by <br />Standard Guarantee) where specifically required by pertinent Specification Sections. <br />D. Binder: Provide a binder with all guarantees placed in the order in which they occur in the <br />project manual. Include an Index of Guarantees listing each specification section, specific <br />items covered and length of guarantee for each item. <br />2.13 RECORD DRAWINGS <br />A. General: <br />1. At time of installation, installed locations of all underground work, including plumbing <br />and electrical, shall be recorded on prints by Contractor, and reviewed with Inspector. <br />Record drawings are to be maintained and adjusted on a daily basis by the Contractor. <br />2. All information entered on drawings copy shall be neat, legible and emphasized by <br />drawing "clouds" around changed items. Changes shall be made in an accurate <br />manner by a qualified draftsperson acceptable to Architect. Completed Record <br />Drawings shall be signed by the Contractor. <br />3. Locate and dimension all work, including stubs for future connections with reference to <br />permanent landmarks or building and indicate approximate depth below finish grade. <br />4. All symbols and designations used in preparing record drawings shall match those <br />used in the Contract Drawings. <br />5. Record drawing shall be up -dated monthly, prior to and pursuant to approval of the <br />progress payment application. <br />6. Record drawing Signoff: <br />a. At such time that the underground work has been completed, all the contractor's <br />and sub contractors' notes, sketch and miscellaneous drawings documenting <br />installed locations not currently part of the ongoing record drawing set, on green <br />bond, shall be transferred. These updates shall be reviewed for accuracy by the <br />inspector of record and architect. Once all corrections have been completed the <br />inspector shall sign and date the record set coversheet noting it as acceptance of <br />the underground phase of record drawings. <br />b. At project completion, the record drawings, on green bond, shall be submitted by <br />the contractor for project inspector and architect review and comment. These will <br />be returned to the contractor for revisions. Once all corrections have been <br />completed the inspector shall sign and date the record set coversheet noting it as <br />acceptance of the completed record drawings. The original record drawings are <br />to be resubmitted to the architect along with a scanned electronic file set in PDF <br />format with file names to matching the drawing titles. <br />B. Conditions of Payments: Evidence of maintenance of Record Drawings shall be presented to <br />
