SUBMITTALS <br />Section 01300 <br />15-1207 <br />Inspector and/or Architect monthly before progress payment will be authorized. <br />2.14 EXTRA STOCK <br />A. Provide all extra stock and materials as described in the individual specification sections, to <br />the Owner at time of final acceptance. Materials shall be inventoried in writing, clearly <br />marked and packaged neatly with quantities as required. Contractor is required to obtain <br />written acceptance of delivery from Owner's representation. <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />3.01 SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS <br />A. This project is using Newforma Info Exchange for transmission and processing of project <br />documentation. The Contractor is responsible for making contract submissions through this <br />web accessed system. No supplementary software is required for use. User names and <br />passwords will be granted at the beginning of the project. <br />B. Contractor is responsible for the scheduling of submittals in order to avoid detrimental impact <br />to the construction schedule and to support the timely sequence of the Work. Allow a <br />minimum of 15 -working days for submittal review by the Architect. Complex submittals or <br />submittals which are not provided as complete packages may take longer than 15 -working <br />days for review. Contractor should allow time for potential rejection and re -submittal of <br />submittals which are being offered as substitution to the specified products. <br />C. All mechanical and all electrical submittals, excluding underground work, shall each be <br />packaged together so that all products/components for these two major disciplines are <br />transmitted to the Architect as a single submittal package for review. <br />D. Contractor shall review submittals for completeness, coordination and conflicts between <br />subcontractors and other work in the Contract Documents. Submittals made by Contractor <br />which are not thoroughly reviewed by the Contractor will be returned. Submittals which vary <br />significantly from the Contract Documents and are not so identified prior to submission, will <br />be returned to the Contractor without review. <br />E. Make submissions within following number of days from issuance of Notice to Proceed or <br />Start Letter: <br />1. Items needed in initial stages of Work or requiring long lead-time for ordering: 15 <br />calendar days. <br />2. All electrical, mechanical and equipment items: 21 calendar days. <br />3. All other items, including all finish samples, which cannot be reviewed without having all <br />of the samples or submittals together at one time: 30 calendar days. <br />4. Deferred Approval Items: 21 calendar days. <br />F. All submittals shall be accompanied by Submittal Transmittal (included with this section) <br />addressed to the Architect. Each submittal transmittal shall: <br />1. Be consecutively numbered. <br />2. Re -submittals to have same submittal number as the original submittal with an <br />alphanumeric suffix. <br />3. Indicate specification section number. (Separate submittals are required for each <br />specification section involved). <br />4. Include proper number of copies, as required in "Number of Copies Required" below. <br />M <br />
