PROGRESS SCHEDULES <br />Section 01310 <br />15-1207 <br />the Contractor. <br />Update: The Contractor shall update the Schedule and Payment request under the following <br />circumstances or as requested by the Architect: <br />1. If the Contractor desires to make significant changes in his method of proceeding, or <br />major changes are required due to changes or delays to the work or any part thereof, <br />he is to notify the Architect in writing of his intent and state reasons for making the <br />change. A change may be considered to be of a significant or major nature if the <br />activity or activities of the logic sequence of activities is varied from his prior submittal <br />to a degree that there is reasonable doubt as to the effect on the contract completion <br />date or dates. Delays requiring an update schedule include rain delays, only as <br />approved by Owner and Architect. <br />2. The Contractor shall submit for review by the Architect at each regular progress <br />meeting an update of the Schedule by marking in red on a current print of the network <br />diagram the actual progress to date. The detailed network diagrams shall require re- <br />plotting if the time frame shown for the activities on the diagram are more than ten (10) <br />working days out of phase with the time frame for the same activities indicated in the <br />updated schedule report or if for any reason the sequences or duration of work are <br />revised. <br />Approval and/or acceptance of the schedule by the Owner and Architect is not to be <br />construed as approval of the contractor's methods nor shall it relieve the contractor from full <br />responsibility for the proper scheduling and sequencing of the work. <br />1.03 ADMINISTRATION <br />A. Each diagram and report submitted under this section shall be furnished in three (3) copies. <br />After review of each successive monthly update the Contractor shall revise the original <br />diagram and resubmit within seven (7) calendar days. <br />B. Submissions of the Contractor's schedule is not to be construed as granting, rejecting, or in <br />any other way acting on the Contractors' requests for time extensions. Such requests shall <br />be processed in strict compliance with all relevant provisions of the Contract Documents. <br />C. Failure of the Contractor to comply with the requirements of this Section may be grounds for <br />a determination by the Architect that no further progress payments are to be made until the <br />Contractor is in compliance. <br />D. The Contractor and Architect shall meet monthly to review progress, the updated network <br />diagram and payment request. Agreements reached at this meeting shall be recorded and <br />shall, as they affect progress and/or payment, be incorporated into the updated reports. <br />E. The monthly update of the Schedule shall be an integral part and basic element of the <br />estimate upon which progress payments shall be made pursuant to the General and <br />Supplementary Conditions of the Contract. The Contractor shall be entitled to progress <br />payments only upon approval of the estimate as determined from the currently approved <br />updated Schedule. <br />F. The Contractor agrees that whenever it becomes apparent from the current monthly <br />progress evaluation and updated schedule data that any milestone interface completion date <br />and/or contract completion date will not be met, he will take some or all of the following <br />2 <br />
