SITE CLEARING AND REMOVAL <br />Section 02110 <br />15-1207 <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.01 REQUIREMENTS <br />A. All applicable portions of Division 1- General Requirements are to be considered as included <br />with this section. <br />1.02 CODES <br />A. The following are minimum requirements and shall govern, except that all local, state and/or <br />federal codes and ordinances shall govern when their requirements are in excess hereof. <br />1.03 DESCRIPTION <br />A. Furnish all materials, labor, equipment, services, etc., necessary and incidental for the <br />completion of all site clearing and removal work as shown on the drawings and as specified <br />herein. <br />B. All onsite and offsite work included consists of but is not limited to the following: <br />1. Removal of existing sidewalks, drives, curbs, pavements, etc. per plans. Trees, shrubs, <br />irrigation. See Abatement Report. <br />2. Removal and capping off or relocation of existing underground utilities, underground <br />structures, etc. per plans. <br />3. Removal from site and disposal of all waste, debris and unusable material. <br />4. Backfill all open excavations created by the removal of underground utilities, <br />underground structures, etc. <br />1.04 RELATED SECTIONS <br />A. Related work specified elsewhere: <br />Section 02200 - EARTHWORK <br />1.05 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Obtain and pay for any permits, bonds, licenses, etc., required for Site Clearing and Removal <br />work. <br />B. All clearing and removal work shall be accomplished in strict accordance with all local and <br />state building codes, requirements and regulations including but not limited to noise <br />abatement, dust control, classification of disposal materials, etc. <br />C. Any work within street or highway right-of-way shall be done in accordance with the <br />requirements of the governmental agencies having jurisdiction and shall not begin until these <br />governing authorities have been notified. <br />
