PIPED UTILITIES <br />Section 02700 <br />15-1207 <br />C. Water lines 4" and larger: AWWA C-900 Class 150/DR18 with rubber gasket joints. <br />D. Fire lines 4" and larger: AWWA C-900 Class 200/DR14 with rubber gasket joints. <br />E. Solder: Lead Free. 95/5; 95% Tin / 5% Antimony. <br />F. Ductile Iron Pipe; AWWA Class 51, Cement Lined <br />G. Ductile Iron Pipe Fittings; AWWA C110, C153, Ebba Iron, Mega -Lug if specified, or <br />equal. <br />H. PVC Mechanical Fittings; Ebba Iron, Mega -Lug, or equal. <br />I. Mechanical Fitting Bolts; Bolts and nuts shall be carbon steel with a minimum 60,000 psi <br />tensile strength conforming to ASTM A 307, Grade A. Bolts shall be standard ANSI <br />B1.1 Class 2A course threads. Nuts shall conform to ASTM A 563 and be standard <br />ANSI B1.1, Class 2A course thread. All bolts and nuts shall be zinc coated. <br />J. Fasteners Anti -Rust Coatings; After assembly, coat all fasteners with an Asphaltic <br />Bituminous coatings conforming to 2007 NFPA 25, 10.3.5.2 and 10.8.3.5. <br />K. Pipe Wrap; 8 mil polyethylene pipe wrap conforming to ANSI/AWWA C105/A21.5 <br />standards. <br />2.04 SANITARY SEWER MANHOLES <br />A. Shall be constructed as shown on plan details. <br />2.05 CLEANOUTS <br />A. Cleanouts of same diameter as pipe up to 8" in size shall be installed in all horizontal <br />soil and waste lines where indicated and at all points of change in direction. Cleanouts <br />shall be located not less than 18" from building so as to provide sufficient space for <br />rodding. No horizontal run over 100 feet shall be without cleanout whether shown on <br />drawings or not. <br />B. All cleanout boxes shall be traffic rated with labeled lid, Christy G05CT or approved <br />equal. Lid shall be vandal proof with stainless steel screws <br />2.06 UNIONS <br />A. Furnish and install one union at each threaded or soldered connection to equipment and <br />2 unions, one on each side of valves on pipes 1/2" to 3". <br />B. Locate unions so that piping can be easily disconnected for removal of equipment or <br />valve. Provide type specified in following schedule: <br />R <br />
