LANDSCAPING <br />Section 02900 <br />Project 15-1207 <br />final acceptance of the work by the Owner's Representative. See Landscape <br />Maintenance Period procedure in Part 3.09 of this Section. <br />C. Final Acceptance of the Landscape Maintenance Period: <br />1. Request the final inspection forty-eight (48) hours in advance. If items require <br />attention, hold on-site meetings until Landscape Architect can certify, in writing, <br />and in concurrence with the Owner's Representative, the successful completion <br />of the Landscape Maintenance Period. <br />1.10 RECORD DRAWINGS <br />A. Upon completion of work, and as a precedent to final payment, deliver to Owner's <br />Representative one complete set of reproducible originals of Drawings showing work <br />exactly as installed. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.01 GENERAL <br />A. Use material in new and perfect condition as specified. Any deviations or substitutions <br />from the Specification and Drawings must first be approved by Owner's Representative <br />in writing prior to use. <br />2.02 SOIL PREPARATION MATERIALS <br />A. Topsoil: Fertile; friable; natural loam surface soil; reasonably free of subsoil, clay lumps, <br />brush, weeds and other litter; and free of roots, stumps, stones/rocks, and other <br />extraneous or toxic matter harmful to plant growth. <br />B. Soil Amendment: One -percent nitrogen -impregnated bark product with a ninety -percent <br />(90%) bark base and zero to one-quarter inch (0-1/4") particle size, or approved <br />equivalent. Do not spread until testing requirements have been satisfied. <br />C. Fertilizer/Soil Conditioner: Gro -Power Plus or approved equal. <br />D. Fertilizer for Trees and Shrubs: Seven -gram Gro -Power Planting Tablets (12-8-8 NPK) <br />or approved equal. <br />E. Vitamin B-1: "Su perth rive", "Liquinox Start", "Cal -Liquid", or approved equal. <br />2.03 MISCELLANEOUS LANDSCAPE MATERIALS <br />A. Bark Mulch: Untreated, shredded cedar. <br />B. Tree -staking System: As indicated on Drawings. <br />C. Pre -Emergent Weed Control: Oxadiazon, "Treeflan", "Ronstar 2G", "Surflan" (Elano <br />Products Company), or approved equal. <br />7 <br />
