COLD FORMED METAL FRAMING <br />Section 05400 <br />15-1207 <br />C. Shop Drawings <br />1. Show size and locations of all framing members in conformance to the criteria shown <br />on the drawings. <br />2. Shop and field assembly details, including cuts and connections. All details must <br />reference detail callouts on the construction documents. <br />3. Type and location of shop and field welds, rivets, bolts, and fastening devices. <br />4. General Contractor shall review and approve shop drawings prior to submittal. <br />D. Samples: Provide adequate samples of unidentified material to the Owner's Testing <br />Laboratory for testing purposes or if specifically requested. <br />E. Submit executed Guarantee of Contractor/Subcontractor per Article 1.05. <br />1.05 GUARANTEE <br />A. Refer to General Conditions and Section 01300. <br />B. Submit fully executed Guarantee with submittal package required by Article 1.04. <br />1.06 REFERENCES AND STANDARDS <br />A. 2010 California Building Code (CBC) as adopted by the Division of the State Architect (DSA). <br />B. AISI 2007 North American Specification for the Design of Cold -formed Steel Structural <br />Members, including 2008 Supplement. <br />C. Steel Stud Manufacturer's Association (SSMA), ICC Report No. ER -4943P. <br />E. American Welding Society (AWS), latest edition. <br />F. Federal Specifications (FS) TT -P -664C(1), Primer Coating, Synthetic, Rust -inhibiting, <br />Lacquer -resisting. <br />G. Industrial Fasteners Institute (IFI) <br />1. IFI -112, High Performance Thread Rolling Screws. <br />2. IFI -113, Steel Self -Drilling Tapping Screws. <br />1.07 DELIVERY, STORAGE AND HANDLING <br />A. Deliver undamaged products to job in manufacturer's sealed containers and/or original <br />bundles with tags and labels intact. <br />B. Store materials in protected, dry conditions off of ground and in areas so as to not interfere <br />with the progress of the work. <br />C. Transport, store and handle in strict accord with the manufacturer's written <br />recommendations. <br />2 <br />
