Make delivery to job when notified by Contractor verifying that the job is ready to receive the <br />work of this Section and that arrangements have been made to properly store, handle and <br />protect such materials and work. <br />1.08 PROJECT CONDITIONS <br />A. Products shall be available at project when required for installation so as not to delay job <br />progress. Cooperate with installers performing work under other Sections involved to effect <br />proper installation. <br />B. Installation of plastic skylights in fire retardant roofs shall not be started until the units <br />proposed have been approved by the Division of the State Architect, Fire & Life Safety. <br />Review shall be based on test data from an acceptable laboratory, or evidence of listing with <br />the DSA. <br />C. Maintain environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, and ventilation) within limits <br />recommended by manufacturer for optimum results. Do not install products under <br />environmental conditions outside manufacturer's absolute limits. <br />1.09 PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS <br />A. System to provide for expansion and contraction within system components caused by a <br />cycling temperature range of 170 F degrees without causing detrimental effects to system or <br />components. <br />B. Design and size members to withstand dead loads and live loads caused by snow, hail, and <br />pressure or suction of wind acting vertically as calculated in accordance with state code to a <br />design pressure of 40 Ib/sq ft. <br />C. Aluminum Skylight structures shall be designed for loads prescribed by the governing building <br />code. Deflection of rafters will not exceed L/175 of the rafter span. <br />D. Skylights utilizing plastic in their assemblies shall meet the requirements of Section 2603.7, <br />CBC. Provide test data demonstrating compliance. <br />1.10 FIELD MEASUREMENTS <br />A. Make and be responsible for all field dimensions necessary for proper fitting and completion of <br />work. Report discrepancies to Architect before proceeding. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.01 SKYLIGHTS <br />A. General: All skylights shall be factory fabricated aluminum framed units, in locations as shown <br />and as detailed on the drawings. <br />B. Sizes: As indicated on the Drawings. <br />C.
