Anchorage Devices: Type recommended by manufacturer. <br />B. Protective Back Coating: FS TT -C-494, bituminous. <br />C. Sealant: As specified in Section 07900. <br />2.04 FABRICATION <br />A. Skylights must be factory assembled and glazed ready for installation. <br />B. Fabricate skylights weather tight and free of visual distortions and defects. <br />C. Protect exterior drip / counter flashing and drainage ports from weather and air -borne debris. <br />D. Miter and full penetration weld all corners of curb and retaining frames. <br />E. Retaining frames that secure the glazing panels along each side under spring tension need <br />not be welded and must be sealed with a silicone sealant along the full perimeter of the <br />retaining frame. Skylight frames must be pre -drilled for anchorage to roof curbs. <br />F. Seal glazing panels to base frame allowing for sufficient expansion and contraction. Provide <br />exterior weep hole arrangement. <br />2.05 MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS <br />A. Provide all miscellaneous fasteners, brackets, supports, connectors and accessory items as <br />indicated on the Drawings or as required by the product manufacturer for a complete and <br />proper installation of the materials, products or systems specified in this Section. <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />3.01 INSPECTION <br />A. Prior to installation of the work of this Section, carefully inspect and verify that installed work of <br />all other trades is complete to the point where this installation may properly commence. <br />B. Verify that specified items may be installed in accordance with the approved design. <br />C. In event of discrepancy, immediately notify Architect. Do not proceed in discrepant areas until <br />discrepancies have been fully resolved. <br />3.02 INSTALLATION <br />A. Install in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. <br />5 <br />
