CERAMIC TILE <br />Section 09300 <br />15-1207 <br />PART2-PRODUCTS <br />2.01 MATERIALS <br />A. General: All the quality to equal or exceed requirements of ANSI A137.1 cushion edge units <br />and FS SS -T-308, "Standard Grade". Floor tile shall have a minimum coefficient of friction of <br />0.6 per ASTM C1028. <br />B. Unglazed Floor Tile: Standard Grade, unglazed ceramic mosaics, cushion edge, dot type <br />adhesive mounted in sheets, "Dal -Keystones" by Dal -Tile or accepted equal. <br />1. Shapes and Sizes: Flat 2" x 2" x 1/4". <br />2. Pattern: as shown in drawings. <br />3. Colors: Standard colors from "Dal -Keystones" Price Groups noted: <br />a. Field: Price Groups 1 and 2. <br />b. Field accent: Price Groups 1 - 4. <br />C. Base: Price Groups 1 - 4. <br />4. Trim Units: Matching trim and other shapes as required. <br />C. Glazed Wall Tile: Standard Grade, glazed tile, cushion edge, "Dal -Semi Gloss" or "Dal - <br />Matte" by Dal -Tile or accepted equal. <br />1. Shapes and Sizes: Flat 4-1/4" x 4-1/4" x 5/16". <br />2. Pattern: as shown on drawings. <br />3. Colors: <br />a. Field: Price groups 1 and 2. <br />b. Accent: Price groups 1, 2 and 3. <br />1) Two accent colors will be selected. <br />4. Trim Units: Matching trim and other shapes as required. <br />2.02 MISCELLANEOUS TILE MATERIALS <br />A. Special Shapes and Trim Shapes: Provide as shown or required for a complete installation <br />of the tile work. Special shapes provided shall include special corners, caps, stops, returns, <br />trimmers, curb tiles, coved shapes, etc. Provide surface bull nose at exposed edges where <br />tile abuts dissimilar materials. <br />2.03 MORTAR BED MIX & ACCESSORIES (ANSI A108.1A) <br />A. Setting Bed (field mix, parts by volume): <br />1 part cement <br />4 parts sand <br />Y2 part lime <br />Water: Clean and potable. <br />Portland cement: Comply with ASTM C-150, Type I and 11. <br />Sand: Comply with ASTM C-144. <br />4 <br />
