Fire Resistance: Partition material shall comply with the following requirements, when tested <br />in accordance with ASTM E 84: Standard Test Method for Surface Burning Characteristics of <br />Building Materials: <br />1. Smoke Developed Index: Not to exceed 450. <br />2. Flame Spread Index: Not to exceed 75. <br />3. Material Fire Ratings: <br />a. National Fire Protection Association (NFPA): Class B. <br />b. International Code Council (ICC): Class B. <br />E. Contribution: Partition material shall contribute to the following US Green Building Council's <br />Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Program Credits (USGBC LEED Version <br />2.2): <br />1. Recycled Content (MR Credit 4.1): shall contain a minimum of 10% recycled content. <br />2. Recycled Content (MR Credit 4.2): shall contain a minimum of 20% recycled content. <br />3. Low Emitting Materials (EQ Credit 4.4): shall not contain urea -formaldehyde resins. <br />1.05 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Refer to Section 01300. <br />B. Manufacturer's Data: Submit list and complete descriptive data of all products proposed for <br />use. Include manufacturer's specifications, published warranty or guarantee, installation <br />instructions, and maintenance instructions. <br />C. Samples: The following samples are required. Submit per Section 01300. <br />1. Submit sample for each type of panel and finish to Architect for review. <br />2. Manufacturer's full range of colors for Architect's selection. <br />3. Provide a sample of each type of hardware, if requested by Architect. <br />D. Shop Drawings: Submit plan, interior elevations and details showing all parts, connections <br />and anchorages, adjacent materials, fully dimensioned and noted. Include blocking layout for <br />use in structural framing. <br />E. Submit executed Guarantee of Contractor/Subcontractor per Article 1.06. <br />1.06 GUARANTEE <br />A. Refer to General Conditions and Section 01300. <br />B. Submit fully executed Guarantee with submittal package required by Article 1.05. <br />C. Provide manufacturer's standard ten (10) year warranty, to include breakage, warpage, <br />corrosion or delamination of installed partition components, door latch and strike, integral <br />hinge system and wall brackets. Defective components shall be replaced. Labor for <br />reinstallation included. <br />
