METAL LOCKERS <br />Section 10500 <br />15-1207 <br />2. Disabled Accessible Latch. Provide in quantity required to meet ADA and CBC <br />requirements. <br />a. The latching operation with a three-point/three-sided latch (similar to Sentry 1) <br />has an extended 6 in. handle creating a weighted counterbalance allowing <br />activation by either upward or downward motion. <br />E. Hinges. <br />1. 3 in., five knuckle, min. 14 gauge heavy-duty butt hinge welded to both door and <br />frame. <br />2. Locker doors that are 42 in. high or less shall have 2 hinges. <br />3. All doors over 42 in. in height shall have 3 hinges. <br />F. Slope Tops. <br />18 gauge all welded top with a 25 degree pitch attached at the factory with concealed <br />fasteners. Slope top is in addition to the standard 16 gauge flat top. Slope to rear <br />fascia panel to be full height and full width of every welded slope top assembly. <br />G. Closed Base. <br />H. Legs. <br />Closed base to be 4 in. high 14 gauge all welded steel base enclosed on all four sides <br />and securely welded to the bottom of the locker and provided where shown on plan. <br />6 in. high made from 14 gauge gusset style legs securely welded to locker bottom. <br />Reinforced Bottom. <br />3 in. x 16 gauge spacer channel welded to locker bottom from front to back (if closed <br />bases are not used). Provide with a minimum of two per welded unit and not less than <br />every other frame. <br />J. Filler Panels. <br />18 gauge solid steel and finished to match the lockers. <br />K. Finish. <br />1. Complete locker unit to be thoroughly cleaned, phosphatized and sealed. <br />2. Finish to be baked with pure TGIC polyester powder coat. Average ml thickness to be <br />2.5 ml or more. <br />3. Color shall be chosen from the manufacturer's 51 standard colors. <br />2.03 LOCKER ACCESSORIES <br />A. Interior Equipment: Furnish each locker with the following items, unless otherwise indicated. <br />4 <br />
