METAL LOCKERS <br />Section 10500 <br />15-1207 <br />1. Hooks. <br />a. Hooks are heavy duty forged steel hooks with ball ends and zinc plating. <br />b. Manufacturer provides two single wall hooks and one double ceiling hook in each <br />locker opening 20 in. or taller. <br />2. Coat Rods. <br />a. Coat rods are manufacturer's standard zinc plated. Provided in lieu of ceiling <br />hooks for lockers 18 in. deep or greater. <br />B. Numbering: <br />1. Number plates to be furnished on each locker, polished aluminum plates with etched <br />black numbers. Number plates shall include California Contract Grade 2 Braille. <br />Locate number plates near the center of the doors. Sequence by Owner. <br />2.04 LOCKER SCHEDULE <br />A. Staff/Food Service Lockers: 18 in. wide x 16 in. deep x 36 in. high, two (2) tier lockers with <br />sloped tops. <br />1. Ventilation: <br />a. Backs - solid. <br />b. Sides - solid. <br />C. Doors - Formed with Secur-N-Vent. <br />B. Colors: Selected from Manufacturers standard of at least 51 colors. Doors and frames, trim <br />and fillers may be of different colors. <br />C. Locks: Master #1525 master keyed combination padlocks. Provide one (1) for every locker. <br />1. Deliver the padlocks and 6 extra locks to the Owner Representative along with the <br />Master Lock combination cards and 4 each Master Keys. <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />3.01 INSPECTION <br />A. Prior to installation of the work of this Section, carefully inspect and verify that installed work <br />of all other trades is complete to the point where this installation may properly commence. <br />B. Verify that specified items may be installed in accordance with the approved design. <br />C. In event of discrepancy, immediately notify Architect. Do not proceed in discrepant areas <br />until discrepancies have been fully resolved. <br />5 <br />
