ATHLETIC EQUIPMENT <br />Section 11480 <br />15-1207 <br />or silver color. Volleyball standards are a part of this contract. Provide 3 -complete sets of <br />sleeves and standards. <br />E. Indoor Volleyball System: <br />1. Standards: Porter No. 1971-000 "Powr-Rib II" Competition, Sleeve -Type, 3-1/2 inch <br />aluminum volleyball standards. Provide center standard(s) arrangement if applicable. <br />2. Net(s): Porter No. 02295-630. <br />3. Upright Protective Pads (pair): Porter No. 717-000 Standard Volleyball Upright Pads. <br />Provide center standard pads if applicable. <br />F. Wall Pads: Porter No. 00560-Oxx "HiNRG Safpad" Wall Padding with 1" Nailing Margins. 2 - <br />inch thick rebonded foam cemented to 7/16 -inch thick OSB backing board covered with 14 <br />ounce non -tear vinyl laminated material which shall have a rip resist and quality utilizing <br />industrial polyester filament yarns. Assembly shall be mildew and rot resistant, and fortified <br />with an infection combating fungicide. Cover material shall be designated as flame retardant <br />in accordance with NFPA 701, and State of California (Registered Fabric No. F-140). The <br />fabric shall be placed over the filler, folded and stapled securely to the back of the backing <br />board. Provide a 1 -inch wide fabric covered nailing margin at the top and bottom for securing <br />panels to the wall. Provide a minimum of 14 -colors for architect selection. <br />G. Indoor Scoreboard: Daktronics No. 1313-2101-13, 4'x8' with PanaView Digit technology. <br />Include one pair of No. BB -2114-13 Shot clocks. Include soft carrying case and signal cable <br />as required. Provide in quantity as shown on plans. Provide 2 -control consoles. [EDIT for <br />radio control if desired by District.] <br />2.02 MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS <br />A. Provide all miscellaneous fasteners, brackets, supports, operators, controls, connectors, and <br />accessory items as indicated on the Drawings or as required by the product manufacturer for <br />a complete and proper installation of the materials, products or systems specified in this <br />Section. <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />3.01 INSPECTION <br />A. Prior to installation of the work of this Section, carefully inspect and verify that the installed <br />work of all other trades is complete to the point where this installation may properly <br />commence. <br />B. Verify that specified items may be installed in accordance with the approved design. <br />C. In the event of discrepancy, immediately notify Architect. Do not proceed in discrepant areas <br />until discrepancies have been fully resolved. <br />3.02 INSTALLATION <br />A. Install athletic equipment in strict compliance with original design, manufacturer's <br />recommendations and reviewed Shop Drawings. <br />4 <br />
