FOR REFERENCE ONLY BUSINESS CONFIDENTIAL <br /> Hazardous Materials Spill Response HAZ-006 <br /> Undamaged Materials <br /> Undamaged <br /> Undamaged materials are considered reusable by the shipper. Containers are considered <br /> undamaged if there is no product released from the container or packaging. The inner containers <br /> can also be considered undamaged. After receiving the Hazmat disposition, the undamaged <br /> material must be RTSed to the shipper in a lined, salvage drum that includes: <br /> • OP-90OLL or OP-90OLG (unless a lithium battery or Limited Quantity) <br /> • Applicable diamond labels, lithium battery, or Limited Quantity marks <br /> • Address label/barcode from original package <br /> • OP-909 <br /> • Orientation arrows for liquids <br /> Note: Local management should coordinate the retrieval of the salvage drum after the <br /> undamaged materials have been delivered. <br /> Repacking Undamaged Materials <br /> Undamaged lithium battery or Limited Quantity materials with the white square-on-point marking <br /> should be repacked as follows. (Refer to the OP-890 for more information.) <br /> 1. Obtain a repack box of sufficient size for the undamaged material. <br /> 2. Repack securely to prevent the contents from shifting. <br /> 3. Individually bag any batteries that are not already inside their own bag. <br /> Use the internal warehouse item scanner BATTERYBAG if possible or larger zip-type bags if <br /> necessary. <br /> 4. Mark the outside of the box exactly as the original using the appropriate lithium battery or <br /> Limited Quantity label from supplies as noted in HAZ-007. <br /> 5. Apply orientation arrows on two opposing sides when repacking liquid materials. <br /> 6. RTS to the original shipper per Safety, PGH disposition instructions. <br /> 7. Scan as a repack (status code 40). <br /> Note: Send consumer type Limited Quantity materials that are not damaged cannot be <br /> determined by the shipper or consignee to Overgoods.
