There is a eharge for recycling at the RRF, a schedule of <br />charges is posted. In addition, signs are posted at thebotR office trailers stating the site hours, <br />site and company telephone numbers, rules and regulations for all drivers, the site speed limit <br />(10 miles per hour), and that all loads must be covered. Additional signage indicates the <br />direction of traffic flow , as needed. <br />3.3.4 Site Security (14 CCR. Section 17418.1) <br />In accordance with 14 CCR, Section 17418.1, site security at the facility is provided using a <br />combination of fencing and lockable gates to secure the site at all entrance and exit points. <br />In addition . The entire perimete r of the s ite is feneed, in eluding the South Fork easement 16 <br />prevent§ unauthorized access to the facility. Signs prohibiting unauthorized access have been <br />posted on the fence along the levee adjacent to the South Fork and Austin Road at <br />approximately 300 foot intervals. All three site entrances have gates that are !oe l ~ed when the <br />site is not in operation. Access through the landfill and RRF entrances is controlled by the <br />office trailergate house attendants . The eastern side of the site (Austin Road) is landscaped <br />with trees and the RRF has a 5-foot high earthen berm on the southern and eastern sides to <br />lim it the site visibility from the road. The location of the fencing is shown on Figure 2.+M <br />equipment maintenanoe area and storage yard at the landfill is foneed and is loe l{ed when the <br />site is closed . <br />3.3.5 Communications Equipment (14 CCR. Section 17415.1) <br />In accordance with 14 CCR, Section 17415.1, adequate communication § equipment is <br />available to site personnel to allow response to emergencies. Telephone service is available <br />at provided to the RRF officeby Paeifie Boll . The site offices and vehieles used for site <br />operations are equipped with phones. The site has +-five telephone lines for business and <br />emergency use. In addition, each employee is assigned a cell phone with two way radio <br />capability for emergency and work communications. <br />3.3.6 Fire Fighting Equipment (14 CCR. Section 17415.2) <br />In accordance with 14 CCR, Section 17415.2 fire suppression equipment is continuously <br />available at the RRF. Forward has a number of site and personal safety procedures in place <br />as detailed in the Contingency Plan which is included in the site's Health and Safety Plan <br />(Appendix D).
