Both of the proposed homesites, however, will utilize individual on site sewage disposal systems (septic systems). All of the residences in the surrounding area are currently utilizing septic systems. These systems generally consist of a septic tank and leach lines with some utilizing dry wells at the end of the leach lines. Several of these neighbors were interviewed to determine a general history of septic systems in the surrounding area and to help in assessing the feasibility of the proposed septic systems. System consist of a 1600 gallon septic tank and three shallow leach lines. Have had no problems with the system since its installation. OWNER: Baumbach ADDRESS: 20600 Tretheway Rd LOCATION: 300 yds north. AGE OF HOUSE: 1.5 years SEPTIC SYSTEM: Yes, constructed at the time of the house. System consists of a septic tank, 2 leach lines, and 2 dry wells at the end of the leach lines. Have had no problems with system since installation. OWNER: Meligan ADDRESS: 20250 Tretheway Rd LOCATION: 400 yds east. AGE OF HOUSE: 14 years SEPTIC SYSTEM: Yes, constructed at the time of the house. System consists of a septic tank, 2 or 3 leach lines, and 2 or 3 dry wells at the end of the leach lines. Have had no problems with system since installation. V. GROUND WATER DEPTH AND TESTING According to the map of "Lines of Equal Depth to Water in Wells" published fall 1990 by the San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District, the depth to groundwater at this location is approximately 85 to 95 feet. 061tAl. -
