This application shows the LFG system intended as part of the Foothill Sanitary
Landfill Site Improvement Project, constructed in accordance with CAO R5-2004-0706. Please
consider this supplemental to the Project Design report submitted August 31, 2004.
As you know, the primary concern of the AQMD is controlling emissions into the air. The LFG
system is designed to meet this criterion, but we have also directed that the wells in Module "I" be
drilled as deep as possible within the refuse to enhance control of LFG emissions from the base of
that Module.
If you have any questions, please call me at (209) 468-8504.
Sincerely,
W.
