(k) Sanitariums, animal hospitals and clinics, convalescent <br />homes, rest homes, child nurseries, wedding chapels; <br />(1) Labor supply camps; <br />(m) Cemeteries, columbariums, crematoriums, mausoleums, or <br />other places for the disposal of the human dead. <br />(n) Cow and goat dairies, creameries; <br />(o) Landscape installation and maintenance when operated in <br />conjunction with a wholesale or retail nursery. <br />Source: 3098, 3111, 3182, 3215. <br />SECTION 9-4103. CONDITIONAL USES. The following uses are <br />permitted, subject to an approved Use Permit: <br />(a) Churches, but not temporary revival tents or buildings, <br />(b) Hog farms, cattle feed yards, kennels; <br />(c) Dumps; <br />(d) Airports, heliports; <br />(e) Commercial marinas, club or fraternal marinas, private <br />marinas; <br />(f) Uses accessory to a marina: tavern, restaurant, bait and <br />tackle shop, grocery store, boat sales, includes boat <br />parts and supplies, boat repair, boat storage, dry boat <br />storage, boatels, recreational vehicle campground, picnic <br />grounds, campgrounds, houseboat rentals, and such other <br />uses which are determined by the review authority to be <br />with and of the same general character and intent of uses <br />accessory to a marina; <br />(g) Resources recovery, subject to the following: <br />(1) "Resource recovery" shall mean the processes and <br />facilities by which discarded manufactured materials <br />or waste products are converted or reduced to their <br />raw material components for subsequent agricultural <br />or industrial reuse. "Resource recovery" does not <br />include auto wrecking or junkyards as defined in <br />Sections 9-3059 and 9-3100 or such other similar <br />uses; <br />(2) Any such use shall have been found by the Board of <br />Zoning Adjustment that the materials processed and/or <br />operational characteristics require a location out- <br />side of an urban area as designated on the General <br />Plan; <br />(3) Any such use shall be located within means of solid <br />fencing, earthen berms, natural or altered terrain, <br />or solid evergreen hedge; <br />(4) Such uses shall be encouraged to locate away from <br />populated areas on soils of low agricultural produc- <br />tivity or potential; <br />(h) Other uses distinctly agricultural in nature which are <br />similar to, and no more objectionable than, the uses speci- <br />fically listed in the zone; <br />4.12 Revised 10/22/85 <br />13.2-3 <br />
