(i) Explosive testing, manufacture, and storage provided the <br />following findings can be made: <br />(1) The use if located one-half (1/2) mile or more from <br />any residence or residentially zoned area, on soils <br />which are not classified as prime, of statewide <br />significance, or unique by the United States <br />Department of Agriculture, Soil Conservation Service; <br />(2) The use is located in areas within one-quarter (1/4) <br />mile of existing explosives testing, manufacture, or <br />storage uses; <br />(3) The use will not be detrimental to the health, <br />safety, or general welfare of persons residing or <br />working in the vicinity, or injurious to property, <br />agricultural operations, or improvements in the <br />vicinity. <br />(j) Power generating facilities, provided the following find- <br />ings can be made: <br />(1) The source of the power requires the location of the <br />use in an area designated as agriculture or conser- <br />vation on the General Plan; <br />(2) The use will not have a significantly detrimental <br />effect on agricultural activities in the vicinity; <br />(3) If the power source is temporary, the site can be <br />rehabilitated for agricultural production or another <br />primary use allowed in the zone. <br />Source: Ordinance No. 850, 1338, 1399, 1447, 1543, 1564, 2064, <br />2157, 2518, 2713, 2831, 2867, 2910, 3009, 3098, 3107, 3126, 3182. <br />SECTION 9-4104. AREA REGULATIONS. <br />(a) The minimum area for the division or subdivision of land <br />shall be one (1), five (5), ten (10), twenty (20), forty <br />(40), eighty (80) or one hundred sixty (160) acres, and <br />shall be identified and designated as GA -1, GA -5, GA -10, <br />GA -20, GA -40, GA -80, and GA -160 zones; <br />(b) In the GA -5, GA -10, GA -20, GA -40, GA -80 and GA -160 zones, <br />on parcels of land with an area of twenty (20) acres or <br />greater, divisions of land may be permitted to create <br />parcels with an area less than the minimum area required <br />in the zone for the following purposes and subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />(1) One (1) parcel of land may be created for the purpose <br />of financing a residence for the owner -operator of an <br />agricultural enterprise; <br />(2) One (1) parcel may be created for the purpose of <br />financing a residence for each member of the owner - <br />operator's family who earns a substantial portion of <br />their livelihood from participation in operation of <br />the agricultural enterprise.
