PART 4 - MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> I. General <br /> • No partial payments will be made. <br /> • Measurement for payment shall be in the presence of the Engineer. <br /> • Payment for work will be made after acceptance of work by the County. <br /> A. Inclusiveness of Payment <br /> Payment for shall be for work as shown on the construction drawings and as specified <br /> herein. Payment shall be full compensation for labor, materials, equipment, and <br /> overhead including insurance, and permits and coordination with EHD as needed. <br /> B. Unit prices <br /> Unit prices shall be applicable throughout the Contract period. <br /> Proposal for increase in unit prices for any bid line item or work after award of contract <br /> due to factors beyond the control of the Contractor shall be submitted to the Engineer for <br /> review with adequate data to support proposed increase. The County reserves the right <br /> to reject proposals for unit price increase. <br /> II. Payment Items <br /> A. Mobilization and Demobilization (Any Listed Site) <br /> Mobilization and Demobilization will be paid at the lump sum price per mobilization, <br /> according to the site to which the Contractor mobilizes, as identified in the Bid Sheet. <br /> 1. Mobilization includes: <br /> a. Obtaining a drilling permit from the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department(Solid Waste Unit), and providing a copy of that permit to the <br /> Engineer. <br /> b. Obtaining approval of a Health and Safety Plan from the EHD <br /> c. Coordinating required inspections with EHD. <br /> d. Delivery to the work site all necessary equipment, tools, materials and <br /> supplies in good working order. <br /> e.
