Main Street <br /> Stockton,CA 95202-3029 <br /> RE: Review of Financial Assurance Demonstrations for Foothill Landfill, San Joaquin County, <br /> Facility No.39-AA-0004. <br /> Dear Mr. McClellan: <br /> The Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery(CalRecycle)staff reviewed the financial <br /> assurance demonstrations for Foothill Landfill, As a result of this review,CalRecycle finds the financial <br /> assurance demonstrations are currently adequately funded,as specified in Title 27,California Code of <br /> Regulations(CCR), Division 2, Subdivision 1,Chapter 6. <br /> Foothill Landli I I utilizes an Enterprise Fund for closure costs and a Pledge of Revenue for <br /> postclosure and corrective action costs, which are acceptable and meet the requirements as specified <br /> in 27 CCR, Section 22241 and Section 22245,respectively. The operator is also required to demonstrate <br /> financial responsibility for operating liability claims. The operator has submitted an acceptable financial <br /> assurance demonstration for operating liability.
