1.5 DRILLING SCHEDULE <br />SWD will schedule the drilling after securing drilling permits from San <br />Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD). Drilling, logging <br />and backfill of each boring will take minimum of 3 working days. The work <br />hours will be Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 4.30 pm. <br />1.6 UTILITIES CLEARANCE <br />Prior to drilling, Underground Service Alert (USA) will be notified. Drilling <br />locations near overhead power lines will be checked for drill rig clearances <br />before drilling. Well locations will be adjusted as needed based on site <br />conditions. <br />If a boring is not drilled to depth by the end of a working day, the drilling <br />area will be cordoned with safety cones and boring will be capped with a <br />'/" plywood sheet. <br />Borings will be backfilled with neat cement. The neat cement will be <br />pumped from the top. <br />Boring backfill will be in the presence of EHD inspector. SWD's will notify <br />EHD Unit 6 inspector(s) at least five (5) working days in advance about <br />the project schedule and the date and time for the first inspection. <br />Consecutive inspections needed for the project will be scheduled with <br />EHD inspector on site after the first inspection. <br />SWD understands that drillings does not require inspection by EHD. . <br />SWD will schedule inspections with EHD, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m <br />during working days.
