3. <br />4 <br />k. Street lighting shall be provided within the development <br />and along Augusta Street. The property shall annex to the <br />Woodbridge Lighting District. <br />1. All new utilities to serve the subdivision shall be <br />underground. <br />Local Health District: <br />a. A letter will be required from the sewer district stating <br />that they have the capacity for the proposed project and <br />that the increased load will not violate the waste <br />discharge requirements of the Regional Water Quality <br />Control Board. <br />b. Any existing wells or septic tanks will have to be <br />destroyed under permit and inspection of the Local Health <br />District. <br />Woodbridge Rural Fire Protection District: <br />a. Water Supply: The required fire flow shall be 1500 <br />gallons per minute for a duration of two hours minimum. <br />Residual water pressure of 20 psi is required during flow. <br />b. Water Mains: The minimum size of the mains shall be eight <br />inches. The system shall be installed so that a single <br />break in any feature of the supply works will not prevent <br />delivery of maximum daily consumption, plus standard fire <br />flows. Sufficient valves shall be provided so that no <br />single accident breakage or repair will necessitate <br />shutting down a length of pipe greater than 800 feet. <br />c. Fire Hydrants: Hydrants installed shall conform to the <br />Standard American Water Works Association. They shall <br />have two 2-31 inch outlets, one 4-31J inch pumper outlet, and <br />one 6 -inch street main connection properly valved. A gate <br />valve shall be provided between hydrants and street mains. <br />Hydrants shall be of a design that if the hydrant is bro- <br />ken off, the hydrant will remain closed. <br />d. Hydrant Spacing: Hydrants shall not be distributed more <br />than 400 feet apart or more than 200 feet from the <br />building to be protected. <br />e. Engineering Plans: An engineered plan showing mains, <br />valves, and hydrants shall be submitted to the Woodbridge <br />Rural Fire Protection District for approval prior to <br />installation of the system. <br />f. Streets: All streets and water systems are to be in place <br />and operating prior to the start of building construction <br />unless there is a written waiver from the Woodbridge Rural <br />Fire Protection District. <br />Conditions of Approval - 3 - (SU -87-8) <br />
