January 31 , 1985 , which shall include the <br /> approved schedule of implementation. <br /> B . _ `ite 5amp?inQ Plan' MCTC shall prepare and sub- <br /> mit to the Department and the Board by Decet-b'e-"r .20;''::1:9,84 a <br /> draft plan to identify and assess whether any off- site , operat - <br /> ing potable water wells may have been adversely affected by any <br /> substances emanating from the Facility . This plan may include <br /> a phased approach to such identification and assessment , and <br /> shall also identify interim alternative sources of potable <br /> water for the users of any potable water wells identified dur- <br /> ing the investigation as having been adversely impacted by <br /> Operations at the Facility . This alternative potable water <br /> source plan shall be developed for contingency planning pur- <br /> poses , and shall be implemented immediately upon a determi- <br /> nation that hazardous waste constituents originating from the <br /> Facility are present in the groundwater and have in fact <br /> migrated off- site through aquifer transportation to operating <br /> potable water wells at concentrations in excess of background <br /> contaminant levels in the aquifer and in excess of relevant <br /> drinking water standards . <br /> 1 . The Department and the Board shall approve or <br /> require amendments to that draft plan by <br /> 985 <br /> 2 . MCTC shall submit for final approval a final <br /> version of the Off-Site Monitoring Plan to the <br /> Department and the Board by January 31 , 1985 . <br /> 3 <br />
