The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for SPEEDEE OIL CHANGE & TUNE-UP-MTCA as of May 27, 2022. <br /> Open violations from December 10, 2021 inspection <br /> Violation#501 -Failed to completely label stationary hazardous waste tanks. <br /> OBSERVATION: Failed to completely label hazardous waste tanks.The used oil tank had an accumulation start <br /> date of June 2021. The site ships used oil off site multiple times per month. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste tanks shall be marked with the words"Hazardous Waste"and the <br /> accumulation start date. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Label the hazardous waste tanks with the words"Hazardous Waste"and the accumulation <br /> start date. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#502-Failed to comply with new hazardous waste tank system assessment requirements. <br /> OBSERVATION: A Professional Engineer stamped hazardous waste tank assessment for the used oil tank was <br /> not available for review during the inspection. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: <br /> Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66270.11 Signatories to Permit Applications and Reports <br /> Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66260.10 Definitions <br /> "Tank"means a stationary device, designed to contain an accumulation of hazardous waste which is constructed <br /> primarily of nonearthen materials(e.g.,wood, concrete, steel, plastic)which provide structural support. <br /> Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66265.192 Design and Installation of New Tank Systems or <br /> Components. <br /> Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66265.193 Containment and Detection of Releases <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Have a qualified Professional Engineer prepare a tank assessment for each tank. <br /> Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department(EHD)within 30 days.
