Environmental Health Department <br />Facility Name and Address: ERICS NEW YORK STYLE PIZZA, 4118 N EL DORADO ST, STOCKTON 95204 <br />Food Program Official Inspection Report <br /> #39 Thermometers Provided/Accurate/Easily Visible <br />OBSERVATIONS: The 2 D Fogel Pepsi display did not have a thermometer. Provide thermometer within 1 week and <br />maintain clean. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: An accurate easily readable metal probe thermometer suitable for measuring temperature of food shall be <br />available to the food handler. A thermometer +/- 2 #F shall be provided for each hot and cold holding unit of potentially hazardous foods <br />and high temperature warewashing machines. (114157, 114159) <br /> #43 Toilet Facilites Clean/ Supplied/ Maintained <br />OBSERVATIONS: The employee restroom door was not self-closing. Provide self-closing door. Corrected on site. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Toilet facilities shall be maintained clean, sanitary and in good repair. Toilet rooms shall be separated by a <br />well-fitting self-closing door. Toilet tissue shall be provided in a permanently installed dispenser at each toilet. The number of toilet <br />facilities shall be in accordance with local building and plumbing ordinances. Toilet facilities shall be provided for patrons: in <br />establishments with more than 20,000 sq ft. establishments offering on-site liquor consumption. (114250, 114250.1, 114276) <br /> #45 Floors, Walls, Ceilings; Clean and Maintained <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed debris on floor under soda syrup shelf, under pizza ovens, and in employee restroom. Clean <br />today and maintain clean. <br />The ceiling vent in the pizza prep area did not have a cover. Provide cover within 1 week. <br />Observed dust build up on the ceiling vent cover above the 2 D True reach-in. Clean within 1 week and maintain clean. <br />Observed hole/crack in back wall inside walk-in. Repair/seal within cleanable material within 3 weeks. <br />Observed tape used to cover ceiling openings in mop sink room. Repair/seal openings with cleanable material. Correct <br />within 1 month. <br />Observed damaged/missing coving behind mixed near walk-in and near mop sink room. Replace within approved coving <br />within 1 month. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The walls / ceilings shall have durable, smooth, nonabsorbent, light-colored, and washable surfaces. All floor <br />surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth, durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is easily <br />cleanable. Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas, except customer service areas and where food is stored in original <br />unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed. All food facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair.
