The wastes <br /> are: <br /> 55 gallons drum of Oily Absorbent(3/4 full)with accumulation start date as of 7/7/21. <br /> 55 gallons drum of Used Oil (1/2 full)with accumulation start dates as of 11/18/2020. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66262.34(d)and California Health& <br /> Safety code 25123.3(c)and 25123.3(h)(1)(C). <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately dispose of the hazardous waste in compliance with Title 22 California Code <br /> of Regulations. Provide a corrective action statement, disposal records and supporting documentation to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 704 CCR 66273.33(b) Universal Waste Handler failed to properly manage universal waste lamps. <br /> OBSERVATION: The facility is managing universal waste(UW)lamps in a way that does not prevent a release of <br /> waste to the environment. Observed one box of fluorescent lamps and another three boxes of various bulbs with <br /> no labeling.Accumulation start date is unknown. The one box of fluorescent lamps is open and one of the boxes of <br /> the bulbs is open. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66273.33 Universal Waste <br /> Management Requirements for Batteries, Lamps, and Mercury-Containing Equipment <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately place all UW lamps into closed, structurally sound containers with labeling: <br /> "universal waste-lamps".
