Turned into Elena Manzo, Lead SAETERN <br />REHS, for review. <br />11:47 AM - Called Eli Hayes, Second Dockhand 209-774-8968, he stated he was <br />not on shift today, could not give an update and recommended calling Mike Hayes, <br />Lead Dockhand. <br />11: 48 AM - Called Michael Hayes, Lead Dockhand 209-607-7381, left a message <br />requesting for clean up update. <br />11:53 AM: Called Chris Magro, 323-613-5521, left a message requesting for clean <br />up update. <br />12:44 PM: Received return phone call from Chris Magro. Per Chris Magro, he had <br />discuss the notice to abate with Alex Thompson and how to properly disposed of <br />hazardous waste. Informed us that Alex Thompson was currently at the dock <br />trying to remove the boat out of the water. <br />12:46 PM: Called Alex Thompson to inform him that he is to notified the EHD prior <br />to lifting the boat out of the water. He stated it will properly take him 3 hours to <br />complete the task and he will contact. Per Alex Thompson, Chris Magro had <br />informed him about the Notice to Abate over the phone. <br />13:30 Arrived on site with Fred Ernest, REHS. Observed boat with painter's plastic <br />coming from underneath the boat from front to back end of the boat. Spoke to <br />Mike Crisps, Lead Deckhand, who stated Alex Thompson had arrived at 9:00 AM <br />and had been trying to get the boat out of the water. Handed a Household <br />Hazardous Waste disposal Guide brochure to Mike due to Alex was on top of the <br />boat trying to get the painter's plastic to go to the side of the boat. Spoke to Alex <br />Thompson informed him that he will needs to disposed the hazardous waste <br />properly and to give us a call when he is ready to get the boat out of the water. <br />10/12/2021 Generated photo log. SAETERN <br />Training with Fred Ernest. Reviewing files. <br />10/13/2021 On site to verify sink boat if was raised. Parkar Diving Services on site setting up NSO <br />equipments. Alex Thompson the responsible party started that ie would take a <br />while approximately four hours. I left come back later. Applied Booms were still <br />around the boat. <br />10/13/2021 Phoned Ely Hayes, Second Deckhand, requested for an update. <br />Per Ely Hayes; <br />Parker Diving Services arrived on-site and lifted the boat out of the water by noon. <br />The boat will be tow away by US Boat in the morning. New absorbent pads were <br />placed around the boat. Parker Diving Services removed their own booms that <br />was placed into the water. <br />Informed Elena Manzo, Lead Senior REHS, of the situation. It was decided that <br />Paul Nso, EHS, will go verify the clean up due they were in the process of raising <br />the boat. <br />Obtained Parker Diving Services information; Contractor: Patrick Butler, <br />415-716-0511. <br />Ely Hayes, send photos of the boat in the boat slip via text message.
