The containers were: <br /> -One 5-gallon partially full container labeled "Hazardous waste Solid, NOS, Chromium" in the Blacksmith shop was <br /> missing the initial accumulation start date. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The initial date of waste accumulation must be clearly marked and visible for <br /> inspection on each container used for satellite accumulation of hazardous waste. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately add the initial date of accumulation to the hazardous waste containers. If the <br /> waste has been stored on-site greater than one year then immediately dispose of the hazardous waste in <br /> compliance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting <br /> documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class ll. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. The containers <br /> were: <br /> -One partially full container of waste metal and paper oil filters in the Large Vehicle Repair area had an incomplete <br /> label.The label was missing the site name/address and the accumulation start date. <br /> -One 55-gallon drum of waste paper oil filters in the Vehicle Repair area was missing the accumulation start date on <br /> the label. <br /> -Several red 10-gallon containers of used oil in the Vehicle Repair area were missing hazardous waste labels. <br /> -One 55-gallon partially full drum in the Fenced Outdoor Storage area was only labeled "used oil"with an <br /> accumulation start date of 6-23-20. <br /> -Two 55-gallon partially full drums in the Fenced Outdoor Storage area were only labeled "hazardous waste"and <br /> "oil'. <br /> -One 55-gallon partially full drum in the Fenced Outdoor Storage area was labeled"hazardous waste", "used oil' <br /> and no accumulation start date. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste.
