The contractor will be responsible for providing any required personal protective <br /> equipment. <br /> D. Company personnel will retain all authorizing authority for all permit work after <br /> performing the necessary procedures for the specific permit. <br /> E. All contract personnel must know the evacuation procedures in the event of an emergency <br /> and the rally point where they are to meet. All contract personnel must stay at the rally <br /> point until they are accounted for and released by their company contact. <br /> F. The contractor whose employees will perform permit work for the company will: <br /> 1. Assume the responsibilities of the Work Supervisor outlined in the above <br /> hazardous work permit program. <br /> 2. Inform Company if any hazards are confronted or created in permit areas; either <br /> through debriefing or during the permit operation. <br /> IX. GENERAL TRAINING REQUIREMENTS <br /> The company provides safety training so that its employees can acquire the understanding, <br /> knowledge, and skills necessary for the safe performance of their duties included in the <br /> company's hazardous work program. The training includes review and revised procedures. <br /> A. All affected employees (those employees whose jobs involve operating,using or working <br /> on equipment that's under the control of the authorized personnel performing the <br /> hazardous work) shall be trained according to the hazardous work permit training <br /> program: <br /> 1. Before the employee is first assigned duties requiring hazardous work. <br /> 2. As part of the annual safety training associated with Hazardous Work Permits <br /> 3. Before there is a change in assigned duties. <br /> 4. Whenever there is a change in permit operations that present a hazard about which <br /> an employee has not been previously trained. <br /> 5. Whenever the company has reason to believe either that there are deviations from <br /> the nrocedures.reouired by the hazardous Werk nermit nrepram or there are <br /> inadequacies in the employees'knowledge or use of these procedures. <br /> 6. To understand the location and restrictions of hazardous work permit equipment. <br /> B. Any supervisor or manager who signs a hazardous work permit shall be trained to: <br />
