2.4.2 Building Siting <br /> a) Buildings shall be located adjacent to the street with parking and service behind to <br /> the rear or sides. <br /> b) See the Mountain House Development Title for setbacks. <br /> c) Setbacks shall be minimized for building entries facing the street. <br /> d) Buildings shall be located near setbacks at intersections/gateway areas. <br /> e) Outdoor eating_>hgring, plaza areas shall be included in the subsequent site plans. <br /> f) Main entrances shall face the street. <br /> 2.4.3 Vehicular Access <br /> a) A maximum of one entry driveway shall be provided from each adjoining street,for <br /> the Neighborhood Commercial site. An additional driveway may be allowed on <br /> Wicklund Crossing for recreational uses within the Neighborhood Commercial site. <br /> 2.4.4 Pedestrian and Bicycle Access <br /> a) Bicycle access will be provided from collector streets(Class III network)and from the <br /> multi use path along De Anza Blvd. <br /> b) Pedestrian access shall be from sidewalks. On-site walkways shall connect to street <br /> sidewalks. <br /> c) Crosswalks shall be provided at street and driveway intersections, and may utilize <br /> enhanced paving as described for parks,above. Materials may include brick, stone, <br /> patterned concrete, concrete pavers or other materials compatible with the common <br /> theme.Materials and treatments shall be specified in the CSD Design Manual. <br /> 2.4.5 Parking <br /> a) Off-street parking shall be located to rear of buildings.Additional parking will be <br /> available on adjacent streets. <br /> b) On-street parking shall be provided on collector streets. <br /> c) Bicycle racks and/or lockers shall be clustered near building entries and at the transit <br /> stop(s). <br /> 2.4.6 Landscaping <br /> a) Landscaping shall utilize the designated neighborhood plant palette for shade trees <br /> and flowering accent trees(See Specific Plan I). <br /> b) Entries and intersections shall utilize flowering accent plant material. <br /> c) Streets and walkways shall be flanked by shade trees. <br /> d) Planting shall visually screen parking areas as specified in the Mountain House <br /> Development Title. <br /> e) Flowering shrubs and groundcovers shall be used at entries and building planter <br /> areas. <br /> f) Trellises,arbors,fountains, special paving or other such elements should be used to <br /> enhance the pedestrian environment and reinforce the common theme. <br />
