[� <br /> Environmental Checklist Explanations <br /> a) Would the project result in substantial adverse physical impacts associated with the provision of new or <br /> physically altered governmental facilities, need for new or physically altered governmental facilities, the <br /> construction of which could cause significant environmental impacts, in order to maintain acceptable service <br /> ratios, response times or other performance objectives for any of the public services:Fire protection,police <br /> protection, schools,parks, other public_facilities? <br /> For fire protection, the project includes an interim fire station to be constructed along De Anza Boulevard <br /> or a permanent facility to be constructed at Mascot Boulevard and Central Parkway(see Figure 2). The <br /> Mountain House Community Services District(CSD)would contract with the Tracy Rural Fire Protection <br /> District for the provision of fire protection services. According to staff of the Tracy Rural Fire Protection <br /> District, existing facilities and staffing would be adequate to serve buildout of Neighborhood"F" <br /> (Fragoso, 2000). A "Fire Protection Services Agreement by and between Mountain House Community <br /> Services District and Tracy Rural Fire Protection District"was signed by the Tracy Rural Fire Protection <br /> District in 1996 and by the County and the Mountain House Community Services District. A Condition <br /> of Approval is recommended below as clarification of a requirement of the Specific Plan I. <br /> For police protection, the project would be served by the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Department. The <br /> Mountain House Community Services District(CSD)would contract with the County for the provision of <br /> such services. <br /> Educational services would be provided by the Lammersville Elementary School District(LESD)and the <br /> Tracy Joint Union High School District. A new elementary school would be constructed at the center of <br /> the site. This school is planned to accommodate 897 students.
