Tait Environmental submitted the manufacturer spec sheet for the valve to Stacy on September 20, 2022. The spec
sheet demonstrates compatibility with various media including those compatible with the materials of construction,
stainless steel, which is an industry standard for use with both new and used oil. This valve has been in use since 2017
when it was installed with the new waste oil drain table, permitted and signed off by your agency on March 22, 2017. If
you are looking for additional documentation, please specify.
Thanks, Fred.
Sheilah Lillie, MS, REHS
Sr. Environmental Scientist
Pacific Gas and Electric Company
Cell: (209) 262-0164
Email: sheilah.lillie@pge.com
From: Ernest, Frederick [EHD] <fernest@sigov.org>
Sent: Wednesday, November 16, 2022 1:41 PM
To: Lillie, Sheilah <SMLZ@Pge.com>
Cc: Steele, Rodney <R2SV@PGE.COM>; Rivera, Stacy [EHD] <srivera@sigov.org>
Subject: RE: 4040 West Ln - UST Inspection Report
This email was sent from an EXTERNAL source. Do you know this person? Are you expecting this email? Are you
expecting any links or attachments? If suspicious, do not click links, open attachments, or provide credentials. Don't
delete it. Report it by using the "Report Phish" button.
Good afternoon Sheilah,
Thank you for the response. Here are my comments in regards to the items.
#102:
The information on the installation on the facilities UST's could be found on the county's public records.
https://www.sjgov.org/department/envhealth/public-records
Also,
Per the CERS guidance
Enter the date the local agency signed off on the installation of the UST system. This is the date of the initial tank installation. It
does not include upgrades or retrofits which may have been performed later. If the date of the local agency sign -off is not known,
the first day of the month the installation was completed may be used. If the tank is of indeterminate age and nothing is known
regarding the original installation date enter 1/1/1900.
#319:
Additional documentation is needed. As per the return to compliance, Provide documentation ensuring compliance with with LG -
113 and Title 23 2643(f).
If you have any questions, just let me know.
Thank you for your time,
Frederick Ernest
