e. A test well will be required to meet the following: <br /> (1) Water quality shall be tested to meet Title 22, CCR (Safe Drinking Water Act) <br /> requirements. <br /> (2) Water quantity shall be tested to show an adequate source. <br /> (3) Test results shall be approved by the Environmental Health Division and Public <br /> Works prior to final approval of improvement plans. <br /> (4) A letter from the water supplier will be required which states that they have the <br /> capacity to serve the development and that the system meets State standards <br /> prior to recording the final map. (Development Tilte Section 9-1100.3) <br /> f. Refuse, garbage, and other solid waste material must be stored, removed, and <br /> transported to an approved landfill in accordance with the San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance Code, Section 5-2400. <br /> 5. DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION: (Staff Contact: Jeff Smith, 953-8800) <br /> a. In-lieu fees will be required for park development. (County Ordinance No. 9-1230-8) <br /> 6. PACIFIC GAS AND ELECTRIC: (Staff Contact: Dennis Moresco, 942-1650) <br /> a. Ten-foot-wide public utility easements shall be provided along all street frontages with <br /> the subdivision. <br /> 7. SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY UNIFIED AIR POLLUTION CONTROL DISTRICT: (Staff Contact: <br /> Tracy Roemer Bettencourt, 545-7000) <br /> a. Provide an energy efficient design, including automated control systems for heating/air <br /> conditioning, and energy efficiency beyond Title 24 requirements, lighting control and <br /> energy efficient lighting in buildings, increased insulation beyond Title 24 requirements, <br /> and light colored roof materials to reflect heat. <br /> b. Plant deciduous trees on the south and westerly facing sides of buildings. <br /> C. Provide low nitrogen oxide (NOx) emitting and/or high efficiency water heaters. <br /> d. If fireplaces are proposed, natural gas fireplaces or EPA certified wood burning <br /> fireplaces/stoves should be installed in every unit that has a fireplace. Conventional <br /> open-hearth fireplaces should not be permitted. <br /> e. If transit service is available to the project site, improvements should be made to <br /> encourage residents to use it. If transit service is not currently available but is planned <br /> for the future, appropriate easements should be reserved to provide for future <br /> improvements such as bus turnouts, loading areas, and shelters. <br /> f.
