At the time of booking, all inmates shaft be screened for medical and mental <br /> health problems and developmental disabilities. <br /> 2. This will be aocomplished by completing the standard arrestlbooing sheet. <br /> 3. Any inmate who appears, at this screening, to be in need of or who requests <br /> medical, mental health, or developmental.disability treatmoxt should be transported <br /> to the Satz Joaquin County Jail or released on a citation (if permissible) as soon as is <br /> reasonably practical. <br /> M- Inmate Deaths <br /> 1, All inmate deaths occurring within the Manteca City Jail shall be ful,iy <br /> investigated by the San Joaquin County Protocol Team. <br /> 2. A post mortem examination will he conducted in any hamate death within the <br /> Manteca.City Jail. <br /> 3. A review of all ininate deaths shall be conducted by the Services Division <br /> Commander. <br /> N: Suicide Prevention Program <br /> 1, All inmates, at the time of booking, shall be screened to identify those-Inmates <br /> who present a suicide risk. <br /> 1 This is accomplished by completing the standard arrest(booldng sheet and <br /> observing the inmate while you are booking him or her. <br /> 3. If in the opinion of the Booking Officer, the imamate is a suicide risk, that inmate <br /> shall be transported to the San Joaquin County Jail as soon as is reasonably practical_ <br /> 4. Penning transportation, the itsmnate should be kept under frequent observatio„ If <br /> cell number"I". <br /> S. San Joaquin County Jail personnel will be notified upon the booking of any <br /> inmate who is a suicide risk. The name of the person notified shall be noted on the <br /> hard copy of the Manteca Police Department arrest/booking form. <br /> D First. Aid Kit <br /> 1. A fully stocked first aid kit is kept in the cabinets located in the Booking Room. <br />
