At least two(2)of the meals in a 24-hour period shall include hot food. <br /> 3. If more than 14 hours pass between these meals, supplemental food must be <br /> served. .Additionally, suppletttental food must be served in less than the 14-hour <br /> period for irunates on medical diets requiring more than three(3)rneals. <br /> 4. A minimum of 15 minutes shall be allowed for the actual consumption of each <br /> meal except those inmates on a medical diet where more time is required. <br /> 5, BreaMst shall be served at, or as close as is reasonably practical to, 0700. <br /> Breakfast shall consist of a hot breakfast sandwich with egg, meat and cheese, and <br /> orange juice. A frozen breakfast meal may be served in lieu of the breakfast <br /> sandwich if it provides the same nutritional value. <br /> b_ Lunch shall be served at, or as close as is reasonably practical to, 1200 hours. <br /> Lunch shall consist of a hamburger with lettuce and tomato, and a small order of <br /> french fries_ A frozen meal may be served in lieu of the above if it provides the same <br /> nutritional value. <br /> 7. Dinner shall be served at, or as close as is reasonably ,practical to, 1800 hours. <br /> Dinner shall consist of a harnburger with lettuce and tomato, a small order of french <br /> hies, and h ounces of milk. A frozen dinner may be served in lieu of the above if it <br /> provides the same nutritional value. <br /> Q. Bedding and Linen <br /> 1. Each inmate who is expected to remain over night,between tlrc hours of 2200 <br /> and 0600, shall be provided with: <br /> a. One(1) serviceable mattress. <br /> b. One(1)freshly laundered or dry cleaned blanket:_ A supply of clean blankets <br /> is kept in the banking room cabinets. ].Dirty blankets should be placed in the <br /> designated receptacle that is provided. <br /> R. Facility Sanitation, Safety and Ma ttenance <br /> 1. The booking room and jail area shall be cleaned on a regular basis by the City <br /> Janitors. <br /> 2. The Watch Cornrrander, at the beginning of his shift, will inspect the jail and <br /> booking room area for an acceptable level of cleanliness, repair and safety, Building <br /> Maintenance will be notified of anything that requires immediate attention. <br />
