The interview room may be used for <br /> attorney/inmate consultations . <br /> R. Medical , Dental, and Mental Health Services <br /> 1 . Those inmates requiring emergency health <br /> care services shall be immediately <br /> transported to a Medical Care Facility by <br /> ambulance. If the inmate is eligible for <br /> citation release, the inmate shall be <br /> released on a citation so he/she can seek <br /> medical attention on their own. <br /> L. Receiving Screening <br /> 1. At the time of booking, all inmates shall <br /> be screened for medical and mental health <br /> problems and developmental disabilities . <br /> 2 . This will be accomplished by completing the <br /> standard arrest/booking sheet. <br /> 3 . Any inmate who appears, at this screening, <br /> to be in need of or who requests medical, <br /> mental health, or developmental disability <br /> treatment should be transported to the San <br /> Joaquin County Jail or released on a <br /> citation (if permissible) . as soon as is <br /> reasonably practical . <br /> M. Inmate Deaths <br /> 1. All inmate deaths occurring within the <br /> Manteca City Jail shall be fully <br /> investigated by the Special Services <br /> Division. <br /> 2 . A post mortem examination will be conducted <br /> in any inmate death within the Manteca City <br /> Jail. <br /> 3 . A review of all inmate deaths shall be <br /> conducted by the Captain of the Special <br /> Services Division. <br /> N. Suicide Prevention Program <br /> 1 . All inmates at the time of booking shall be <br /> screened to identify those inmates who <br /> present a suicide risk. <br /> 2 . This is accomplished by completing the <br /> standard arrest/booking sheet and observing <br /> the inmate while you are booking him or <br />
