SAN JOAQUIN cou-, <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Time In: 12:06 pm <br />Time Out: 1:00 pm <br />COMPLAINT INSPECTION REPORT <br />Name of Facility: PANERA BREAD #1825 Date 05/11/2022 <br />Address: 1355 E Yosemite AVE, MANTECA 95336 <br />Owner/Operator PANERA LLC Telephone: (209) 647-7018 <br />Program Element: 1600- FOOD PROGRAM Complaint #: C00054877 <br />Responsible Party Contact: <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br />CROSS CONTAMINATION, OATMEAL IN SOUP MIXED WITH MEAT, OTHER FOODS STORED NEAR MEAT. <br />COMPLAINANT ALLEGES THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT SAFE CERTIFIED TO HANDLE FOOD, FOOD IS NOT <br />BEING DATED PROPERLY AND THE WALK IN IS NOT ORGANIZED PROPERLY, PRODUCE IS OLD AND WILTED, <br />MANY CUSTOMERS RETURNING THEIR PURCHASES DUE TO THE FOOD LOOKING BAD. COMPLAINANT SPOKE <br />WITH GENERAL MANAGER AND MANAGER AND THERE DOESN'T SEEM TO BE ANYTHING DONE ABOUT IT. <br />COMPLAINANT HAS VVITNESSED EMPLOYEES DROP FOOD AND JUST KICK IT UNDER THE STATION AND LEAVE <br />IT THERE. FACILITY DOESN'T GET A PROPER CLEANING UNLESS THERE IS AN INSPECTION SCHEDULED OR <br />THE DISTRICT MANAGER IS VISITING FACILITY. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodbome illness All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />#1 Demonstration of Knowledge <br />OBSERVATIONS: One food handler card is expired. renew card within 30 days. <br />CAL CODE DESCRIPTION: All food employees shall have adequate knowledge of and be trained in food safety as it relates to their <br />assigned duties. (113947) Food facilities that prepare, handle or serve non-prepackaged potentially hazardous food, shall have an <br />employee who has passed an approved food safety certification examination. (113947-113947.1) Any food handler hired after June 1, <br />2011 shall obtain a Food Handler Card within 30 days (113948). <br />#14 Food Contact Surfaces Sanitized or Warewashing Sanitization <br />OBSERVATIONS: Buckets have SmartPower sanitizer with below the recommended concentration. Provide DDBSA <br />272-700pm and Lactic Acid 704-1875ppm today. Facility will be using chlorine 100 ppm to set up buckets till repair. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All food contact surfaces of utensils and equipment shall be clean and sanitized.
