STATE OF CALIFORNIA—RESOURCES ADEN EpMUNp i,. BROWN JR., coveRNr_
CALIFORNIA REGIONAL INATER QUALITY CONTROL BOARD--
CENTRAL VALLEY REGION
3201 S STREET
SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA 85816
PHONE: (916) 445-0270
31 December 1962
Mr'. Albert Brochini
8&E Farms
27011 South Austin Road
Ripon, CA 95366
FORWARD, INC. , CLASS II-1 LANDFILL, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
Thank you for submitting the water quality analysis of your water supply
wells. We have compared the analysis with background data obtained from
a report issued by the USGS and also applicable water quality standards
and conclude that the levels of electrical conductivity and sulfates
are within drinking water standards and are similar to background concen-
trations for this area.
The Monitoring Program which was recently adopted by our Board in December
1962, will require Forward, Inc. , to construct additional monitor wells.
These wells will be placed in locations that staff feels will detect any
potential contamination of the ground water. However, we will be meeting
with representatives of the Farm Bureau and Forward, Inc. , to discuss pro-
posed revisions to the Monitoring Program.
BOB FUJII
Area Engineer
REF/gs
cc: Mr. Everett Conway, Farm Bureau
Mr. Greg Basso, Forward, Inc,
