In the 1975 photo, the Site has been planted with orchard. Due to the scale of
the photo and presence of trees in the area, it is difficult to determine the number
of structures present.
In the 1993 photo, the structure area remains obscured by trees; at least two
structures are present. A new house can be seen on the adjacent parcel to the
south. The adjacent parcel to the north has been planted with orchard or
vineyard.
In the 2003 photo, the five structures can again be seen near the northeast
corner of the Site. The adjacent parcel to the south has been planted with
orchard.
In the 2014 photo, all but two structures have been removed from the Site; the
trees surrounding the structures have also been cleared. A small object (the
wind machine) can be seen near the center of the Site.
In the 2018 photo, grass and a driveway can be seen near the remaining
structures. No other significant changes are apparent.
These photos are included as Appendix 3 of this report.
4.0 SITE INSPECTION
Live Oak inspected the Site on March 22, 2022. Photographs of the Site are
attached to this report as Appendix 2. Live Oak walked the boundaries of the
property and inspected the structure area. The Site consists of almond orchard
with a house and shop at its northeast corner. An underground irrigation pipeline
crosses the Site approximately two-thirds of the way south.
The domestic well was observed to the southeast of the house, and the septic
system was observed to the west of the house. A pole -mounted transformer was
noted to the northwest of the Site; it appeared new, but was not labeled with a
blue sticker to indicate it is free of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). A plastic
water tank was observed on a concrete pad to the south of the shop. A few
plastic buckets and containers, most empty, were noted in the area.
To the north of the Site was Lathrop Road, followed by orchard. To the east of
the Site was orchard. Orchard and a rural residence were observed to the west.
To the south was a rural residential development; an open lot, a rural residence,
and the end of Mitchell Road were immediately adjacent.
LOGE 2216 3
