Work Plan, PFAS Site Inspection <br />Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station Stockton, California Technical Approach <br /> 3-2 DCN: TRBW-0202-5183-0010 <br />submitted for analysis of PFAS by LC/MS/MS compliant with Table B-15 of QSM 5.3. Sample <br />locations are presented on Figure 17-3 in Appendix A. <br />AOC 02 – Firehouse #2: Install five temporary borings for soil and groundwater collection using <br />direct-push drilling methods in the north parking lot and southwest corner of the site; and collect <br />two sediment samples from the drainage ditch north of Building 117. Samples will be submitted <br />for analysis of PFAS by LC/MS/MS compliant with Table B-15 of QSM 5.3. Sample locations are <br />presented on Figure 17-4 in Appendix A. <br />Site 19 – Construction Debris Pile: Install five temporary borings for soil and groundwater <br />collection using direct-push drilling methods in the central, north, south, west, and northwest areas <br />of Site 19; collect four, five-point composite soil samples from existing stockpiles; and collect one <br />sediment sample from the drainage ditch north of Site 19. Samples will be submitted for analysis <br />of PFAS by LC/MS/MS compliant with Table B-15 of QSM 5.3. Sample locations are presented <br />on Figure 17-5 in Appendix A. <br />AOC 03 – Stormwater Pump House Area: Collect three sediment samples along the drainage <br />channel east of the pump house. Up to two additional sediment samples will be collected if <br />sediment piling is observed; and collect groundwater samples from two existing monitoring wells <br />(W-060 and W-255) and one existing piezometer (P-180). Well W-060 is located east of AOC 03 <br />and south of the drainage channel; well W-255 is located northeast of AOC 03 and north of the <br />drainage channel; and piezometer P-180 is located southwest of AOC 03 and west of the drainage <br />channel. Samples will be submitted for analysis of PFAS by LC/MS/MS compliant with Table B- <br />15 of QSM 5.3. Sample locations are presented on Figure 17-6 in Appendix A. <br />Analytical results will be compared to the project screening levels presented in Appendix A <br />Worksheet #15. In addition, approximately 25% of soil and sediment samples collected will be <br />analyzed for total organic carbon (TOC) by USEPA SW846 Method 9060A. <br />3.2 Pre-Work Notifications and Permitting <br />Trevet-Bay West will coordinate access to NCTS Stockton with representatives from the Port of <br />Stockton and their site contractor, Geosyntec. Trevet-Bay West will notify the Port of Stockton, <br />Geosyntec, the Water Board, and the Navy RPM in writing (e-mail) or by phone at least 10 <br />business days prior to when field work is about to commence. <br />3.3 General Work Requirements <br />3.3.1 Authorization and Plan Compliance <br />Trevet-Bay West will implement field work in accordance with the approved Work Plan. <br />Significant deviations from the Work Plan will be first approved by the Navy and concurred by <br />the regulatory agencies prior to implementation through a formal field change request.
