The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for GOLD RIVER ORCHARDS, INC as of June 26, 2023. <br /> Open violations from September 27, 2021 inspection <br /> Violation#303-Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems,spill control,or decontamination <br /> equipment. <br /> OBSERVATION: <br /> -spill control equipments are missing in pump station shed <br /> -eye wash station next to door 12 and profum cage is inoperable <br /> -secondary containment pallet for the used anti-freeze drum and used metal oil filter was observed with some areas <br /> of the secondary containment with standing liquid. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All facility communications or alarm systems,fire protection equipment, spill control <br /> equipment, and decontamination equipment,where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure <br /> its proper operation in time of emergency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Bring the all above list into proper working order by repair, replacement or testing. <br /> Provide a corrective action statement to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#304-Failed to maintain adequate aisle space for unobstructed response to emergencies. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following area does not have adequate aisle space: <br /> -the hazardous waste storage area has an inadequate aisle space between the cage of empty propane tanks and <br /> secondary containment of the gasoline and diesel <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The owner or operator shall maintain aisle space to allow the unobstructed movement <br /> of personnel,fire protection equipment, spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment to any area of <br /> facility operation in an emergency, unless it can be demonstrated to the Department that aisle space is not needed <br /> for any of these purposes. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately maintain aisle space to allow the unobstructed movement of personnel,fire <br /> protection, spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment to any area of facility operation in an <br /> emergency.
