The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for GOLD RIVER ORCHARDS, INC as of June 26, 2023. <br /> Open violations from September 27, 2021 inspection <br /> Violation#406-Empty hazardous waste or material container greater than 5 gallons not managed per this <br /> section. <br /> OBSERVATION: <br /> -one white plastic 55 gallon drum was observed next the shed in the hazardous waste storage area without empty <br /> container label and start date <br /> -one white 330 gallon tote was observed in the bone yard without empty container label and start date <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Empty containers which previously held a hazardous material, including hazardous <br /> waste must be managed per Title 22 California Code of Regulations(CCR)section 66261.7. Refer to this section <br /> and California Department of Toxic Substances Control guidance for more information. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label all empty containers with the date they were emptied and manage <br /> within one year of that date. Manage the container per Title 22 CCR section 66261.7. Provide a corrective action <br /> statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD) <br /> within 30 days. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#601 -Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days(90 days acute/extremely). <br /> OBSERVATION: The following hazardous waste containers were found on-site with no accumulation start date: <br /> Per Pablo Martinez, drums are stored onsite longer than 180 days. <br /> -one black 55 gallon drum of used metal oil filter was observed in the hazardous waste storage area without an <br /> accumulation start date <br /> -one blue 55 gallon drum of used anti-freeze was observed in the hazardous waste storage area without an <br /> accumulation start date <br /> -one white 330 gallon tote tank of waste oil was observed in the hazardous waste storage area without an <br /> accumulation start date <br /> -one black 55 gallon drum of unknown was observed in the hazardous waste storage area without an accumulation <br /> start date <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66262.34. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately dispose of the hazardous waste stored on site greater than 180 days in <br /> compliance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations. Provide a corrective action statement and a copy of the <br /> disposal records to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Page 6 of 8 <br />
