COMPLAINANT OBSERVED A LONG BLACK THING STICKING OUT OF A PIECE OF FISH. <br />COMPLAINANT PULLED IT OUT OF THE BATTER/COATING AND IT WAS AN APPROXIMATE 4 INCH LONG PIECE <br />OF HAIR. COMPLAINT WAS GIVEN ONE REPLACEMENT PIECE OF FISH. COMPLAINANT TALKED TO THE <br />MANAGER AND WAS OFFERED A 10% DISCOUNT AND WAS THEN COMPED FOR THE MEAL. COMPLAINANT <br />STATES THEY ARE GOING TO REACH OUT TO THE OWNER AS WELL. <br />COMPLAINANT CALLED BACK STATING THAT A 2ND MEMBER OF THEIR PARTY GOT SICK APPROXIMATELY ONE <br />HOUR AFTER EATING - EXPERIENCING DIARRHEAAND STOMACH-ACHE. THEY DID NOT GO TO THE DOCTOR <br />AND FEELS FINE THIS MORNING (FEBRUARY 10TH). <br />COMPLAINANT CALLED BACK STATING THAT THE MEMBER OF THEIR PARTY WHO GOT SICK ATE THE TARTER <br />SAUCE AND THE COMPLAINANT DID NOT. COMPLAINANT STATES THAT IS THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN <br />THEIR TWO MEALS. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodbome illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />#7 Hot and Cold Holding Temperatures <br />OBSERVATIONS: The 2 door True (by the oj dispenser) is 50F. Potentially hazardous food (phf) in the unit (tartar sauce) is <br />48F. Maintain phf at 41F or below. Correct today. PHF moved to a different unit. <br />Unit was turned down. Re-checked the air temp of the unit: Re-check 1: 47F / Re-check 2: 48F. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Potentially hazardous foods shall be held at or below 41/45°F or at or above 135°F.
