THE FOUR FAMILIES ATE DINNER AT THE RESTAURANT 6:00 PM, THREE OF THE CHILDREN ATE THE <br /> MEATBALLS FROM THE SPAGHETTI AND MEATBALL KIDS MEAL,THE NEXT MORNING AROUND 11:00 AM THE <br /> THREE CHILDREN BEGAN TO VOMITING. THE TWO OLDER CHILDREN EXPERIENCED SYMPTOMS FOR 18HRS <br /> WHILE THE TODDLER EXPERIENCED SYMPTOMS FOR 36 HRS. NO DOCTOR WAS SEEN. COMPLAINANT ALSO <br /> STATED A FEW DAYS AFTER THE INCIDENT SHE WAS INFORMED FROM A FRIEND THAT HAD JUST GONE TO <br /> THE FACILITY, THAT TWO MORE CHILDREN VOMITED IN THE POOLS, <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #1 Demonstration of Knowledge <br /> OBSERVATIONS:2 Food handler cards are valid but not available on site. Keep valid cards on site in one week. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:All food employees shall have adequate knowledge of and be trained in food safety as it relates to their <br /> assigned duties.
