VESEN I S <br />Contingency Plan <br />Section 3 — Effective Date Supersedes Page <br />Branch Safety Organization 9/20/2021 New 3-2 <br />4. Selected branch personnel are trained in: <br />First Aid procedures <br />Use of respiratory equipment (where applicable) <br />Use of self-contained breathing apparatus (where applicable) <br />All branch personnel are trained in the use of fire extinguishers. <br />Facility will conduct two evacuation drills per year. <br />Equipment <br />All equipment listed in this plan is on hand, is in operating condition, <br />and is available for use in emergency response situations. <br />Plan Update <br />The plan will be kept current by conducting, at a minimum, an annual <br />review. The review should assess any changes in operating <br />procedures, equipment, and personnel. The Emergency Coordinator <br />and Alternate will be responsible for conducting the review in <br />conjunction with the facility Safety Committee. <br />Documentation <br />All employee training on the implementation of this plan will be <br />documented using attendance sheets, with copies forwarded to the <br />Environmental, Health & Safety Manager for data entry into the <br />Training Tracking System. All contractor training on the plan will be <br />documented and maintained on file at the facility. <br />II. Emergency Coordinator <br />It is the responsibility of the Emergency Coordinator, with assistance from <br />the Regional Staff, to implement the plan as needed. <br />A. Personnel <br />1. All the personnel necessary to implement this plan shall be made <br />aware of their responsibilities as outlined in the plan. Employees will <br />be informed of the hazards involved with the materials handled at the <br />branch.
