<br /> Routine monthly inspection conducted on this date and the following was noted:
<br /> 1. The fire extinguishers and rodent bait stations were being properly maintained.
<br /> 2. The onsite litter and dust was minimal.
<br /> 3. All records were available for review.
<br /> 4. Tonnage records for August 2013 were reviewed. The transfer station/compost facility
<br /> and landfill exceeded 4,180 tons on the following dates: 8/6, 8/7, 8/8, 8/9, 8/12, 8/13,
<br /> 8/14, and 8/22. It was documented that the transfer station/compost facility closed
<br /> down early on those days.
<br /> 5. There was an area of the tipping floor that needed repair. The operator was made aware
<br /> of this issue and said that it would be repaired by the end of the week.
<br /> 6. On 9/3/13 the operator submitted pictures showing that the area of the tipping floor
<br /> needing repair was repaired.
